Stikfit Privacy Policy

Effective 1 September 2026

Stikfit is a bodyweight workout app. This policy explains what data the app handles and what happens to it.

Using Stikfit without an account

Without an account, Stikfit stores everything — your saved workouts and settings — locally on your device. Nothing is sent to us or anyone else.

Anonymous usage analytics

Stikfit counts a small number of app events (app opened, a workout generated, started, or completed) so we can see whether the app is actually being used. Each event is tagged only with a random id generated on your device — never your email, name, or workout content. This id isn't linked to an account or any other identifying information.

You can turn this off at any time from Settings → "Share anonymous usage stats" (on by default). When off, no events are sent at all.

Crash reports

If Stikfit crashes, it sends a crash report to Sentry, our error-monitoring provider, so the bug can be found and fixed. A report contains the error message, the technical stack trace of the code that failed, your device model, OS version and app version — not your email, name, or workout content. It is covered by the same Settings → "Share anonymous usage stats" switch: turn that off and no crash reports are sent either.

Stikfit's waitlist and feedback forms (also opt-in — you choose to use them) send whatever you type: your email address for the waitlist, or your message text for feedback, plus the same random device id if analytics is on.

If you create an account

When you sign up (email/password or Google), we collect and store:

This data is stored with our hosting provider, Supabase, and is only accessible to your account (and, for shared workouts, to people you give the share link to).

Smart workout generation

If you use the smart generator and type a request (e.g. "20 minutes, no jumping"), that text is sent to Anthropic (our AI provider) to build your workout. Don't include anything in a prompt you wouldn't want processed — though note prompts are used only to generate the workout and are not used to train AI models.

Sharing

Sharing a workout creates a public read-only link containing the workout and your display name — never your email. You can revoke a share at any time, which disables the link.

What we don't do

Deleting your data

You can delete your account from the Account screen in the app, which permanently removes your profile, workouts, shares and copies. You can also email us to request deletion.

Your rights

If you're in the UK/EU, you have the right to access, correct, export or erase your personal data. Contact us and we'll sort it.
